Challenge
Southern Autistic School, a specialist school in Melbourne's inner south, required a comprehensive fit-out spanning from early learning to senior school classrooms. The challenge was to provide functional, durable and comfortable furniture that would cater to the varied and specific needs of students across all age groups.
Approach
Our approach centered on collaboration and customisation. By working closely with the school's administration and teaching staff, we gained a deep understanding of the students' needs. This insight allowed us to tailor our solutions, ensuring that each piece of furniture was not just a fit for the space it occupied, but also for the student it served.
Solution
The range of furniture provided included adjustable desks that accommodate various activities, ergonomically designed chairs that offer necessary support and flexible, mobile units that can be easily reconfigured to suit the dynamic nature of classroom activities. Each piece was chosen with the utmost attention to safety, durability and ease of use, ensuring that the students of Southern Autistic School could benefit from a learning environment tailored to their needs.
